still doesnt work
thats why i was like the baking is secondary
i just want this fricker to move
(no idea this servers stance on cursing lmfao)
it will move if its going to snap on the surface, if its not snapping that means it doesnt know there is a surface there
make sure the navmesh agent has the correct baked surface it needs to use
eg if you baked a specific Walk area , your agent needs to have the same area
also screenshot entirety of the navmesh agent inspector
i did this
pressed bake exactly as is
also it looks like this but hundreds of times
(cause i put the track player method in an update so it constantly tracks)
do you have pause on error on?
guess not
is the game paused
but it happens since second one
nop
comment the SetDestination line out of the code real quick and save
that fixes everything, i did that
fixes what? what is everything ?
no errors, a warning that says failed to create agent because it is not close to navmesh
wait
could it be that by nav agent collider thing isnt big enough?
idk i tried changing the height and nothing
yeah idk nvm
wait before doing anything else. create a brand new capsule and put a navmesh agent on it as is dont touch any settings
something might be wrong with the bake you did
I would first of all clear the bake and just use the new components
cause if was baked properly it should snap onto it
im doing it now...
huge waste of time and im so stressed dude
whatever. i did it, and i cleared the bake
huh? so you got new component or
yes, tyring to figuire it out now
ok i thnk i did it, do i need to change the agent in any way?
not for now
The AI navigation system in Unity allows non-player characters (NPCs) to move intelligently through a game environment by calculating and following optimal paths and avoiding obstacles.
In this video, you’ll learn how to get started by setting up a NavMesh surface and how to set up the AI Navigation system package in Unity 6.
