Hello !
I'll be posting here the work I'm making on ShipCrafter, my upcoming naval sim game where you build a vessel and fight with it against increasingly powerful enemies !
As of today the game is not finished, but I already have a trailer. I'll be posting about how I overcame challenges such as real time buoyancy and shell trajectory physics.

I have added the possibility to set weaponery in secondary mode. This mode aims and shoots automaticaly at ennmemies, at the cost of accuracy.

It is also now possible to add decks to blocks.

Nice, after that you should propably add more wedges or something like that. Maybe even a resize ability to increase the smoothness of the ship. Gonna test that demo now lol

After playing the game, I can say that I love it. Especially the wave simulation!
But the levels are a bit easy, but I'm sure it'll be different in the full version.
Another tip is to maybe add wind or something, to stop people from building tall boats with pure weapons stacked on top(aka me lol)
9/10, will play again

Or add structural stress. The more weight lays on a block, the more likely it is to fail/break randomly.
But tbh, this is gonna be hard to balance.

thanks ! I'm planning to make more diverse missions, such as coastal defense destruction, port captures, and even teamming up with other bots in historical battles like Bismarck and Prinz Eugen against Hood and Prince of Wales

for wind, seems complicated to implement, and yeah i want to let people make unhinged builds anyway lol

Also, maybe adjust the placement system of scaled blocks. The current system only works with blocks that have even side lenghts

There are many things i'm want to improve, for now i'll focus on implementing steam workshop, to let people share their ships with others, then i want to make a big gameplay update

I just made a new update, this time with a new game mode, new ship to fight and a first person view mode to walk around your ship !

it's at 12min median time, which makes me think something is confusing early on and makes people quit.
As for missions, i added a special mission (fighting Minekaze) and a new game mode (base defense)
