thats actually some good animations Cool
thank you so much
If you plan on working on this more, maybe consider some wrist animation as well
It makes the arm look like a 3d model, and not a arm
But otherwise the motion is cool
👍
oh yeah 100%, i have a plan for the game.
by wrist wdym tho like, idle animations?
oh nvm i got it
wow very smooth!
can somebody give me advice on how i can achieve proper dismemberment? for now i'm only simulating it, the head doesn't pop off as the head itself isn't a seperate mesh
one technique that Ive used before was that I seperated the enemies into multiple materials,
one material for each limb
Left arm,
Right arm,
Left leg,
Right leg,
Head
and then i used collision boxes that was attacthed to the bones to check the health on each limb and if the health went below 0 I just turned the corisponding limb material alpha to 0 and spawned in a seperated limb prefab at the bone location and rotation
Ahh, alright. thanks
REBAR is an indie FPS I’m building in Unity, focused on fast, satisfying combat and stylish movement. The goal is to create a shooter where every kill feels impactful and fun.
I’ll be posting regular devlogs here and on Twitter for feedback and support.

In this devlog I show the new bullet ricochet system and environmental traps I added to my indie FPS project, REBAR! I’m building this solo, step by step, and sharing the journey as I go.
