For comparison, this is with Light Probe Groups. Ignore the slight increase of the albedo in the lighting, just different scene setup but everything else the same...
It does support this. Check your probes placement with rendering debugger

you could try disabling all the APV streaming functions in the urp asset

APVs have to be baked with type baked or mixed lights
wym "faster"? If you mean performance - hell no, APVs are really heavy when there are a lot of them

i dont even try to use apv in my urp cause the map was too big and the baked file was huge
(using mlp now)
you could increase the spacing between probes to something like 3 meters
