For the DOTS channel there is a subchannel "DOTS General Discussion" - its handy given the API is changing a lot and the question you have does not really need a detailed post when you're trying to understand some API.
The same is true for shaders/rendering, its a big and complicated topic for many and the API is changing a lot much like DOTS whilst Unity attempts to unify it.
Threads still make sense when you have a specific problem and need to give a detailed breakdown of the problem and the attempts made. So having both seems best.
