Hey everyone! I’m working on a 3D open-world adventure game in Unity called Zentha — a story-driven, transformation-based action game with monster-bonding at its core.
🎮 Game Summary:
Zentha is a third-person, open-world game where players bond with elemental creatures called Echoforms — and actually transform into them for fast-paced combat and traversal. Think Ben 10 x Redakai x Breath of the Wild, with a darker twist.
🔥 Core Features:
🌀 Echoform Transformation System – You don’t just summon creatures… you become them.
🌍 Open-World Exploration – Elemental regions (fire, wind, earth, etc.) tied to story and upgrades.
⚔️ Combo-Based Combat – Each Echoform has unique abilities and styles. Switching forms = strategy.
🛠️ Forge-Based Creature Creation – Nexus Forge lets players unlock Echoforms based on choices, emotion, and region.
🧭 Cinematic Intro & Lore-Focused World – Player wakes up in a glowing crystal cave. No memory. Only the Watch.
📦 Progress So Far:
✅ Main menu system (Start, Controls, Exit)
✅ Using Unity, and Blender to build environment
🧪 Currently building: Intro cave + cove level, player movement, transformation system
🧠 Features Inspired By:
Redakai, Bakugan, Ben 10, Avatar: TLA
Combat & traversal like Kingdom Hearts or FF7R
🤝 Looking for:
Feedback on scope or direction
Ideas for unique Echoform mechanics
General support from fellow devs (always down to talk dev struggles too)
If this sounds interesting to you, happy to share progress/screens soon!
Thanks 🙏
