I like 2022 and Unity6

"best" in terms of the one I personally had the least issues with on my machine, or "best" as in the one that I subjectively think has the most useful features and patches?

im basing mine of personal preferences

#

here currently the only version i have is Unity6

Ah, for me I think it is also 2022, it felt like the version that I can adapt a workflow for the best imo

gonna probably go back to an older version just so I can have it

#

been noticing some of my paid assets aren't supported in 6 as of yet 😬 (mostly Shader stuff)

Yeah, im not sure how true it is, as I personally dont like using Unity 6, but ive heard a lot of people having strange issues with 6 versions, I assume its due to still being so new theres small things to still work out and with some of the workflow changes, new things for devs to get familiar with

and now that LTS and support is picking up it'll be fine..

#

I still enjoy using 6 for my prototypes

it's super fast compared to unity now. and the icons and interface are not like unity 6's. but, i'm using unity 6 at the moment.

👇 most memorable version imo

all b/c of the "buzz lightyear" loading screen ^ 😄

Just to be clear, I would use the highest version of 2017.2 before 2017.3, therefore it appears to be 2017.2.5f1

2022.3.35f1 is my most widely used version <-- this has to be my choice when speaking of reliability

Might be recency bias, but i like the 2022 version, and second place being Unity 6

solid version

Yeah, Unity 6 would be higher if Web builds didn't take too long to finish

Haven't tried if 6.1 has the same problem
