1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
totally forgot about the thread feature btw good call
yeah thats not correct
it should show the VSC version
and say "Visual Studio Editor 2.0.22 enabled
start by removing vsc from snap and install the regular version
which distro you on ?
yeah no we dont use this
this creates problems with connecting apps with each other
mmm okay
for Unity also you should use this if you didn't already..
https://docs.unity3d.com/hub/manual/InstallHub.html
quick question then tho, when using flatpak version it complained that it cant use keyring kde 6
scroll down to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS
for hub / unity use sudo yum
lol they presented it as an option
I know they do but they dont know your usecase
fair,
and connecting VSC contained into another contained app is misery
any app you use those app managers usually are
not if you do it this way https://docs.unity3d.com/hub/manual/InstallHub.html
this installs it regularly
still doesnt seem to detect it
so you removed the flatpak/snap one already and installed the .rpm package ?
where is the Visual Studio Editor package in Packages in Unity
what about Unity ?
it still says sudo snap install..
? reinstall unity?
if its install via snap/flatpak yes
the history is backwards
what I been saying the past half 20min
sorry i was focusing on getting visual code working
its all connected
both need to be installed WITHOUT SNAP
so they can properly communicate with each other
the benefits outweigh the wait time
they should have the similiar structure yes
alright,,
