I had the idea in school today about a kind of ultrakill esque game with fast paced movement but with some twists, you can toss your head and make it come back! i will probably add some more features to this later that make it more useful but im thinking of making it a way to either teleport, slam your lower half body into the enemy while doing some ninaj shit. I wanna kinda make it a boss fighting game too. Does this sound good. any changes i would be veryu happy to hear about. feedback is the key afterall

oh yeah i forgot one part,. i wanna make the camera heavily physics based to make it somehow unique, like make it go further back struggling to keep up and moving back and fourth.

I got some awesome Ideas from my friends.

  1. Parrying: im thinking that it gives you a charge for the grappling hook, "now grappling hook??" Is maybe what youre thinking and youre right
  2. Grappling hook, i was thinking you could throw your head and make it stick using said charge from the parry, or even fly against the enemies and SMASH THEIR SKULLS IN
  3. Teleportation, very new considering my friend told me this literally 3 minutes ago so not many ideas for how it could work but maybe some ability unlocked later one that allows for teleportation with some follow up attack by swinging your head around hitting them near you.

Some ideas i had for a protagonist is TJ(random name i thought of) and its gonna be like a hip hop kinda game, skater type shit kinda. But not dark very colorful, a big inspiration is the cover art for the song "Attacking Vertical" by Femtanyl. Ill send it so anyone (probably no one) can see what im thinking

I also wanna make some kind of "flow" state where some jumpstyle starts to play and the entire world starts to distort while youre grappling around defeating hordes of enemies and slaying bosses left and right.

The little story i came up with is:
"TJ is a genius inventor skater girl that has invented many amazing things, sadly those things make cutting costs on stuff like groceries so the government has decided to get rid of her." Ill try to make some concept art (or force my friend hehe) of TJ because this might honestly be my favourite game idea yet since i love fast paced games like this
