Hey everyone. Im new here. And ive decided to make my first videogame.
I had a class in coursera to learn game development back in 2015... They used unity for lessons. And i did something and then left for quick bucks online (and that didnt work)
So last week i was reading Brian Tracy confidence book... And he had this question: whatever you did between 7-14 years old is basically what you want to do when you grow
So its videogames.
Duh
But i was so distracted by life searching for other services to launch...
Now i want to make psychology interactive app/videogames. Where people can have self-scoring apps in their mobiles to keep track of their personal development.
But as a life game.
And also create action side-camera games with aliens as main players. 2.5D scenarios. With space guns, spells, team play etc
So after thinking about the design... I came down to this question.
What route should i pick?
Unity... Or Unreal...
C# or C++...
Which has better:
• Multiplayer costs & performance...
• Stability, speed & fun...
• Community to partner with others (and get support)
Why did you choose unity over unreal?
P.s. most people say unreal graphics are the thing. But i prefer gameplay over graphics. Performance and interactivity.
And yet... I don't want my games to look like most play store games graphics. Childish, simple, plain... I want it to be toonish, but at the same time realistic.
