well, we are quickly going to step out of Unity related things if we continue. one thing, perhaps use the DDU to fully uninstall the previous drivers, and install the new ones. also, use Atudio drivers for more stability. Beyond that, i'd even reinstall windows, unless i Really wanted to just go ahead nd get that new card ๐Ÿ˜

as far as Unity is concerned, you can check the !logs about the crash to see if they give any insight

Reinstalled to W11, and back to W10, no luck.

I'll checkout DDU but first I'll get the crash logs.

I ran the previous LTS with an older graphics driver but still no luck. ๐Ÿค” Either I revert my windows updates, or get a new card.

I guess my GPU is actually starting to die. ๐Ÿค” But the timing just feels odd.

Ty for the help btw.

I wouldn't rule out the windows update. i delay mine for quite a while, due to issues like this

I had a GPU load spike when I loaded Unity. ๐Ÿค” 30 minutes of Furmark show no alarms. I'm running on drivers from November 2024 and running the latest Unity5 LTS. Fresh install of Windows 10; same conditions I was working in 2 months ago.

I want to throw conspiracy theories at Windows so bad rn. sadok
