If you want honest feedback I would make a trailer showing off why your game is cool. Definitely dont wanna find keys and open doors in a game so maybe focus on more interesting stuff. Also post processing would help the game a lot. Like ambient occlusion.

I don't know where to start.
I suppose it's one of your first games, if not the first, there are lots of issues and bugs.

  • The turrets shoot you if you get close (even if inactive).
  • The screen is full of shield and sword icons. Why not making them activate when you are close?
  • The game is very hard to understand at first. And turrets shooting at you do not help.
  • You have no way of helping out your turrets.
  • The building does not have a roof.
  • It isn't clear at all where enemies do spawn.
  • A lot of items in the scene do not have colliders.
  • Books may spawn inside items like boxes, wardrobe, beds, sofa, etc.
  • There are 2 types of enemies.
  • Any healthbar is displayed at any time.
  • The camera is very stiff.
  • There are no shadows and that's a bit boring and graphics in general are boring.
  • There are no settings whatsoever.
  • Some turrets are just useless whilst others are over powered due to their poor/good position.
  • The time between wave is too long and it's hard to notice when one wave does start. Why not adding a sound effect?
The only thing that's ok at this stage is sound effects. I did win at the end of the day though.
