Sounds like intresting idea! Once having the original assets or assets made by somebody im sure this game would look great!
Thanks! I’ll definitely try to collab with someone once the game has all its mechanics and systems done. I’m working on this in night hours and weekends when time permits it
I wouldnt mind helping out if possible!
Oh very nice, maybe we should discuss some time in the future what your art direction would be for this game
For past 4 years im doing 3D and 3D Only soon looking forward into Programming but thats some future! overall 4 years in 3D and 2 Years in Active Developing
Do you have a portfolio or games that you can show already?
Mostly portfolio
Been working on enemy behaviour and I'm working on making them smarter by surrounding the player. Many more things need to be done to make it more natural but the idea is to have them fulfill roles so the combat will be a bit more challenging.
Aggressor role will attack the player when he can, but also open opportunities for the Flanker role to get some damage in. The Supporter role will be healers and other casters that will stay at a further distance and in line of sight of the target.
In the future I want to introduce the Leader role that coordinates attacks and give the players a hard time defeating them.
I've been working on the new Main Menu View. I used the Render Texture of 2 extra camera's to create the effects shown in the GIF. I also used a SVG to mask one of the Render Textures to create the "see through"-effect.
It's no soulslike when you can't roll through barrels
I’ve been working on the supporter role and made it a bit smarter. It will now look for a line of sight location to attack you. No more hiding from this one!
Created a logo for my game
You can play with velocity and tie it into your vectors of the enemies so they can actually predict movement based off speed. Either that or more projectiles/enemies for challenge. Looks good though! Keep it up!
