#General code forum

We've got the !forums for persistent support as an alternative to these discord text channels/threads
:speech_balloon: Unity Discussions ↗
I think they mean an actual Discord forum rather than the help channels. I can see the benefit in them since the current channels lack structure and multiple conversations get messy.
This is a Unity Discord, not a General Coding discord
Why does dots have a forum channel then?
I meant in the context of Unity, it can be called scripting
we have that ?
No the forum style channel, like how dots is
I disagree, way more organized. They can replace the existing channels but that's probably controversial. I've seen other discords that have both and a bot that posts in the text channels when a new forum post is created
we also need the seperation of code complexity
That's fine, that's what tags are for in the forum type channels
