I've been working on a submarine game for the last few months and thought it might be a good time to show my progress and possibly collect some feedback.
It's still in extremely early stages and I'm mainly focusing on building a solid foundation of mechanics and visuals before I get too deep in the weeds of making the larger 'game'.
Right now I'm intending it to end up as some sort of open world immersive sim type thing, similar in structure to my previous game Sail Forth but with more of a focus on the sim part. I'm taking a lot of inspiration from games like Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Mech Warrior, STALKER, and space sim games.
