Inspired by games such as Portal 2 and A Story About My Uncle, this short but sweet 3D puzzle-platformer follows the story of an unnamed protagonist who dies and finds themselves in an abstract world. One filled with many secrets, vast landscapes, a mysterious runic language, and what appears to be.. geometric entities? Given no choice but to explore, they shortly meet a peculiar pyramid-shaped fella named Pyra, who happily agrees to guide the player through this vast scape. Well, these entities don't really speak human languages, but its clear through the way it acts that this could maybe be someone that the player can trust. They don't really have any other choice otherwise.
As you explore, you discover that this world is made up of layers; each different than the other. Which each new area, you develop new strange abilities which allow you to move through the caves and open traverses of this realm. What secrets does this world hold? And why would Pyra lead you further and further down it?
Hi everyone! For the past year I have been slowly working on a platformer game. I really love games that try and get creative with their mechanics and wanted to see what I can come up with. The game revolves around movement so I am working with a custom character controller and building the basics from the ground up. Here are some videos showcasing some stand-out moments of the project so far :) Any feedback is super appreciated. If anyone is interested I have a discord where I document my progress and publish weekly updates, just let me know ❤️
