I am creating a Single-player RTS racing game that is free to play Android with no ads and no micro-transactions.

I started development on 11/21/24. I have been using unity on and off since 2013. But I haven't finished a project since December 2015. But I have a good feeling about this one.

The map is 3.5 Sq-mi and is based on a real island in the Atlantic Ocean but will be mostly fictional. I am very early into the development, but I hope to have a playable demo to test basic controls by December 11th.

As far as I know this game is totally unique and nothing is quite like it. It's a racing game that's so realistic that you lose money everytime that you go racing. The biggest concession that I have made in my game design is that following the racing line has no advantage. But this is a conscious decision that was made in order to enhance the strategic decisions made while street racing.

I will try to provide 1 update every 2 weeks.

I can't believe it has only been 3 days since I last posted an update. It feels like much longer. This project is both a game and an animation series. I have mostly been working on the story and scripts. So I don't have much to share.

I got some character names. I guess I'll share those there is:

  • Rage
  • Ash
  • Maximus
  • Yoko
  • Manager
  • unnamed office worker
  • Old fisherman
  • Waitress
  • 2 police officers
  • I make a guest appearance as a racecar driver, but my name is not mentioned.

This isn't canceled but the concept has evolved into something more substantial

Great. So. 6 months later. I'm actually doing a thing.

I'm actually putting a demo together for a steam playtest.
