#[ProBuilder] Suggestion for future updates to probuilder

I want to suggest the probuilder developers to take inspiration from source 2's hammer editor in terms of features, because that is the best level design tools that exists right now and if Unity could have that built into their own engine, it would mean a lot of success for unity in regards to getting more people to use the engine. Because currently in this discord server I have seen a lot of people frustrated by the lack of features in probuilder (and also some annoying bugs), forcing them to move to external modelling softwares.
Also, I think spending time changing the ui was kind of a waste of time, because you could have spent this time on new features. 😓

Do the developers agree? Also, are there any features that you are currently working on, or are currently on your roadmap, that you could share?

Agree Source2's hammer has been one of the most pleasant and practical level editor ever.

Hi @hidden ingot ,
With the introduction of new Scene View workflows (Overlays, EditorTool API, right click menu) we had to update ProBuilder workflows, not just for the UI, but also to avoid conflicts between the ProBuilder features and these new scene view features (for instance, the edit mode buttons and the overlays, or the tools and the new tooling API).

We recently had a look at other DCCs, including Source 2 Hammer, at some point. However the team is currently working on other improvements around the scene view and other elements related to Level Design, but part of the Editor and not ProBuilder itself (even if PB will also take advantage of that :D). For now we don't have any new feature work planned for ProBuilder on our roadmap, except maybe some improvements of the current functionalities.
