In most chats, if you paste with 'CTRL+Shift+V', it will print it as plaintext. And then, to post a block, do the following:

@narrow yacht for a Google doc, at the very least you should set the typeface to something that is Monospaced - I can't remember the name of any, but there's definitely a default typeface in Google Docs that's monospace
