sorry to break it to you, but that mechanic is nothing special, nor did you come up with it
placing blocks in a video game is around since ages
Dude keep working on it, could be very cool if you do it right. I would definitely incorporate some new elements though.
That mechanic is also present in the bestselling ever. It's cool, but not special
I just mean that building in a grid manner, was a mechanic that I didn't have to follow a tutorial in order to program. I came up with all the programming myself by reading documentation, so a big step in my Unity learning!
Im planning on changing the objects that you can place to different things, doors, walls, foundations, sortof like Rust. And then, you will have the ability to refinforce them, or attach them to the structure properly with welding etc, to survive hordes of zombies. That's a ways in the future though, I am still learning this engine.
Would definitely play that
Hell yeah haha, we will see how much I am able to accomplish, assets are ganna be difficult for me to implement, never dealt with them before
I'll figure it out, just learning this engine is taking me a little while haha
Be carefull starting a big project with something you've never used before.
This project is pretty small and basic, it’s just the asset portion that will be difficult
I want to also learn how to use blendr lol
