Hi, I joined the server today, and it actually has quite a lot of activity. Some questions end up in back-and-forth conversations, and if the conversations don't end up in a Discord thread, the channel gets blown up with messages, making it really hard to dig through the feed. Could there be some sort of enforcement for the use of threads for longer conversations? 🙂

We rely on the community to enforce it. If there are long conversations happening or it's obvious that it'll trend towards being one, just suggest the people involved to thread.
If they refuse, then you can ping a moderator.
