Downloaded Unity yesterday so this is the earliest look possible, my goal for the title is to be a realistic and gritty naval combat game while carrying over more arcade esq combat elements from games like SnB and AC4. These are two placeholder ship models I made to test, I am currently working on a higher detailed and textured ship that will more resemble the ones in game. I am a 3d modeler and have no previous experience with game development applications, so any help or feedback would be appreciated

Just started work on the ship model I will be using to further test mechanics, level of detail will be reminiscent of Teo Yong Jins concept art for AC4, so ships will be cluttered and carry personality, while also coming with plenty of customization options for multiple aspects of your ship. I have a work ethic that quickly lets me create fairly detailed and optimized sailing ships, so I will be incorporating that and creating as much as I can as the game progresses
Keep in mind this is a very early look at the model so any lighting issues or lack of detail will be solved withing the coming day or two
