Yes you will need to allow remote connections
Make sure that you can ping the host from the client pc

I tried pinging, but returns 4 packets lost

If you can't ping then you either aren't on the same network or something else is blocking the connection

@queen gorge not sure if it was us talking about the LAN discovery implementation but i managed to get it working, and it's much simpler than I expected. Let me know if you're still on it and what is your current blocker
