Hey guys! So I am on a indie game development team and we been looking to streamline our project management and documentation process for long-term projects.
Currently, we're using Discord-communication, GitHub for unity bs, and Obsidian-documentation/narrative, but we're finding them less effective for our needs in terms of long term? if make sense
Trello didn't work out for us previously, but we're open to revisiting it dontmakeme. Could you recommend any alternative project management tools that are effective for indie game development, especially for task management, workflow optimization, and documentation?

I been looking at Plaky and Codecks thus far
Any ideas tips ? ideations? emojis? gifs?

We are trying to get rid of excel, but some people have a hard time adapting.

Jira works fine, but if it adds an overhead for sure.

I mean, it depends on why you use Excel. It was used as a planification tool in our case.
