Video of the new mage added today needs some fancy flair still but running and working. The Ice mage has the highest resource demand on your system I can redice the amount of faces on the mesh of the projectile and soak a few frames out of it. Also running everything at overclock to really test it's limits to make sure the game will stay at 30 Fps or above.
So worked o it a bit this weekend was a bit bust but regular work hours a have begun again so I will post tonight everything done over the last 3 days at the end of it. See how Much I can get done today, Over the weekend designed the cards and coded 90% of them.
Super simple scripts really one script holds data for the card other one handles drag and drop mechanics of the card place card on Castle for castle cards mages drag cards to them to power them up or place them.
OK so mostly working now a few things to iron out now, the animation Trigger is ot working right had it working in the prototype but I'll have to figure that out tomorrow, as well as the mage is getting double summoned on some tiles had a programmer come in and help even so I don't know there.
So I got the card spawning system working fully an every thing is ok other then maybe scrolling trying it out was ok during placing a card feels amazing when not holding a card not so good if anyone has time to help thanks. Idea's or suggestions welcome on that it's a super simple normalize mouse position based on how far away from screen center it is.

thanks yeah having problems right now in two unrelated systems the level up system is causing the cards not to sort again????
looks nice right now, although one could argue that the card does block line of sight to the place you wanna put it down
if it's within your timeframe, I would suggest trying out the arrow pointing method that I sometimes see in card games where the card doesn't follow the mouse cursor but an arrow indicating where to place the card down does
Yeah I will fix that they are huge really huge need to create a script when move held down that they change the z position on the -z axis. Been running into problems today as well getting the fireball looking good again. Yeah I can just game the z axis I want it clear which card laid down and want that hey you playing a real car game feel as well. Plenty of game handle it may way just needs work really, I know plenty of games do and it's my game I'll take my lumps on that because I love the feel of it. I have solutions just right now it looks sloppy because it is not done yet.
More worried the main gameplay loop over small changes that take 2 lines of code to fix.
Ok well more is done this week that last thing for the fire mage is the fireball, not 100% on Monday I'll spend 30 minutes and fix it and solved the card size issue two second fix change the prefab and all the variants change. Took 2 mins if that prefab all things I prefab the tiniest stuff even the cards every element on them is a prefab.
Also the app if designed for old people young people can play it but not the market either!!!
looks good, really nice concept of mixing a defense and a card game i dig it 
thanks yeah kind of the idea by new hero packs in the store for 1.00 which release new ones few times a year basically the first year will be the druid and the archer.
Its also a 3match puzzle game
