Hello, I'm a game developer with 8 years of experience. I'm currently working on a new game based of all most popular parkour games. Here is a short (bad) description of the game.

In this open world game, you can traverse through a huge city by vaulting, climbing ladders, jumping off buildings or just... falling. Play with your friends and race against each other across the city, create your own private server with friends to just run through the city and visit the beautiful view of the endless sea. Level up by running fast, and doing cool tricks. Climb huge buildings up to 1000x the height of the player, explore the city's and find new areas or just hangout and chat with your friends on top of the world.πŸŽ‰

what i noticed from the trailer is that your building assets are likely way too small scale, it looks like youre either a giant or the city is mini

also whats the concept behind it, whats motivating the player to purchase and play your game, so far it looks like a novelty game that you play for 3 minutes and then you stop cuz it gets boring cuz there is no objective

yeah sorry but this is not worth 10€ like this.

even if its an immense labour for you, and experienced dev could throw that together in under 2 hours, thats nothing you can charge money for

there needs to be a LOT more content for the pricepoint of 10€ to be even considerable

like plenty of objectives, a general goal and atleast 4 more maps

there are no streets, no people, no cars, nothing to make this look like an actual city

even if the cars and people dont have any ai and just stand around, that still makes the city look way better

First of all you don't just share the private information I'm giving you. Second of all I've explained multiple times to multiple people that this game is VERY VERY VERY early stages! I don't know what you guys are expecting, of course it has nothing. I've spent like a month on it only spending like 5 hours a week. I spent 2 hours alone just texturing the buildings and I'm taking my time. All of this effort is to make something good. There is so much more to come. Also this is first Unity game...

yeah you need actual objectives, like races with like points you have to hit in a certain time, kinda like your time trials. The rest of the points do not make a player come back

I just threw together a couple building images from textures.com for now, we'll see. I might use cube projection to get the interior look maybe?

yes people dont care, atleast non gamedevs, they dont think alpha -> full game will fundamentally change the graphics, thats just how it is

The movement is insanly smooth and looks fun

Seems fine to me personally but I guess some could have that problem in VR for sure it would be, if they don't like it they cannot buy. Personally I think it's really cool I would put up with the nausea myself personally if I had the issue.

Oh yah great solution if Camera movement makes you nausea then you have epilepsy even mild version of it anyway, it is good idea to account for it way more people have it then people most people realize. I am guessing you basing this on Mirrors Edge if you want voice over I will provide for cheap or free even whatever your comfortable with, I am fine with it because I think the project is cool plus help my resume thanks. I can get studio space for free and help me build a demo reel.
