I'm new to unity and wondering which modules I should use for this concept:
The starting point for this idea is a clone of the old DOS game X-Com Apocalypse, a Sim with company management and tactical combat elements.
I was initially modeling my idea after X-Com Apocalpyse, which would have meant 3 basic phases to the game: Company Management, overworld/city view and tactical combat. I'm thinking that with Unity tech, however, I can combine these phases into one seamless environment, where missions can happen while time continues to pass in the city. Looking at demos for DOTS with thousands of pedestrians moving around a city gave me this idea.
