So I recently turned 18, I have 3 good years of dense Unity experience under my belt. Where can I look for programming work? What jobs are available to me?

  1. Nobody will hire a teenager as a full time employee

  2. You find jobs by searching online, on websites like LinkedIn, Indeed and finding a list of local studios and checking their job postings

  3. You need a well made, and presentable portfolio

Yes, portfolio is an absolute must, especially if applying without relatable education.

With so little jobs, and more people than ever trying to get into the industry (just look at the size of this server for example), the ability to find a career down this path is becoming more and more impossible. For those who need to make an income (and not some teen looking for a summer job), finding alternative and more stable income options is becoming a priority.

#

As to why you should find an internship? Because you're 18 and no studio is hiring a teenager as a full time employee.

# uncut beacon Why?
  1. you are 18 y.o, its difficult to find legal jobs.

If your goals to earn money, find a person who wants to make a game, then you offer your service

#

The earnings pretty huge

#

The only people I've evert stumbled upon who "want to make a game" are totally incapable of paying more than like, 200 bucks for it

#

That is to say, not serious people

#

And another thing, because I know you can answer this. Will knowing Fusion make it easier to find a job/contract? Since fusion is relatively new, one would think that the service pool is small right now
