I was just about to create a dev account to make a game and you have to put your address and full legal name down and its made public blows my mind

It's to prevent spam. Google isn't much interested in solo hobby developers uploading things under their own name, and are more expecting registered businesses (even if it's just a business of one) to use their information.

i mean even then if you register a LLC and sign up for a dev accoount with it you still have to put a adress
