Wanted to throw this in webgl but apparently compute shader doesn't work for some odd reasons and vfx graph relies on it.
there's no compute shaders in webgl
only in webgpu, which is afaik coming only in unity 6
Oh, neat. Maybe I'll start reading up on that then since I've kinda got a lot of my systems written with VFX graph in mind.

I've just started developing with it through three.js too, I guess I hopped on a little too late, haha.
webgl and webgpu are two completely different things
I could understand if old gpuapis may not be compatable, but everything im reading here feels like it's just telling me it's a direct upgrade over webgl
well it is, webgpu has been made to replace it
it's like opengl vs vulkan
it's just too new, chrome only adopted webgpu maybe 6 months ago
