CURRENT FEATURES: movement (walking and jumping), wall jumping and sliding, coin pickup, gun pickup, inventory display, shooting, and enemy health.
Honestly first thing that really stood out is how smooth the wall jumping seems. Even with the character being a circle I was able to see how smooth wall jumping was instantly.
The following feedback probably won't mean much do to the game being wip, but will share it anyways. By this I mean the feature might just not be ready yet, but it is already being thought of.
The part where you show no enemies spawning because you haven't picked up a gun yet, personally might to make it where there is a form of feedback to the player in the room with the gun in it.
Play a sound effect like a warning, make text appear above it, or have a closed door that opens after picking up the gun. Having a form of feedback for players in the same room just feels nice most of the time.
I have seen games that did something similar, but made it where players walked five or six rooms away than saw they needed to grab an item they passed up. This breaks the flow of games when backtracking that could of been avoided wasn't.
Do note it was only one room away so honestly probably won't even be a thought for most players.

I appreciate the feedback! I will make a door like thing, so when the player has a gun, the door will go bye bye. I have added some new features:
inventory select
a heart collect thing
a reloading function
a mario-style pipe function
some pipe enemies that shoot bullets
and a jump pad
