Per Install per year fee is stupid, No web app support in EU is stupid, I've been working on a mobile web app after hearing about Unity's mobile web app support and now that I saw this news, I was livid. Apple said that web apps was a good alt, and yet they pull this BS. They said that Web Apps aren't secure without Safari and apps without Apple are not secure, but that's a bad excuse. Every OS doesn't have this issue, why do we let iOS have that issue? Even if I stop developing for iOS or macOS, I will not have much effect. How do I or we protest?
#I think Apple App Store policies is BS

Yeah, it's essentially the initial Unity runtime fee, except even worse somehow.
They want to impose their monopoly at all costs.
I guess I'll port my game to the Nintendo switch as touch only and get a dev kit somehow
The only way I see Apple changing their minds is if developers band together to not support iOS. Sadly, I'm just one solo developer, so there's not much I can do
A lot of iOS developers have already expressed their disapproval towards the new policy. Whether Apple will listen or not is still pending. Though knowing Apple, they won't give a shit.
Unless some big partners/big developers get involved, like what happened with Unity, I don't see Apple changing anything at all.
Also, the EU hasn't clarified if Apple's policies are in line with the EU's new policies regarding third party stores, as far as I know
Well, for once, Apple DID something good

Though no changes regarding the runtime fee, as far as i know.
