Hey everyone! I'm a beginner hobby game dev that's been learning Unity for around 5 months now and this is my second project so far. I made my own game initially but decided to try and make my own version of the suika/watermelon game for my second project to see what it's like working within limitations rather than being limited by my own imagination.
I learned a whole lot during this project, one of the main things I learned during this project was scriptable objects as well as learning how to use Shadergraph to create my own clouds in the game.
I also learned how to write basic HLSL shader code to create shaders by code, this was an incredibly fascinating side of game development and while I didn't use it in this project, I hope to dive deeper into it in future projects!
I did all of the coding (I had quite a number of bugs, but they're all squashed now!) as well as the art in photoshop. I apologise if the art isn't terribly great, I hope to improve as time goes on!
I'm posting this here in the hope that I can get some valuable feedback in terms of areas that I can focus on improving in (which is likely all areas xD).
If you have a spare moment to try out my game and give me any feedback/criticism i'd be incredibly appreciative!
