@sharp steppe i did that in the environment variables window
added a new variable called "Path" and then add those directories u sent
ok, then reboot your computer and cross your fingers that it comes back up
if it doesnt then you will need to do a Windows Recovery
as in nothing at all or nothing bad?
nothing bad thankfully
ok, you will find that some programs wont work correctly as we cannot know what other stuff was in the path before, so bear that in mind for the coming days/weeks
you dodged a big, big bullet there my friend
thanks to you man 👍
so now the python question
create a NEW environment variable python3 and add your 2 python paths to that
new env variable called python3?
yes and make sure the paths both end with ;
I see no ;
ok.
now at the end of the path variable add a new line %python3%
done
ok, save and reboot
brb
no guarantees but you should be good to go now
you can test it when the system comes back up, open a powershell window and type in python. The python interpreter should start
ok im gonna launch unity now
i hope the error messages arent gonna appear no more
phew
ok i dont see any error messages
thanks again steve
seriously
