Where do I go about looking for work in Game Engine Development?

Getting a game development job isn’t hard, but I’m interested in a job building custom frameworks and game engines, any idea where to look?

You will either want to look into company that creates engine such as Unity or Unreal or really big studios that still use their in house engine. Nowadays, most company use either Unity or Unreal or any other premade engine.

That being said, there is also other type of work that might be similar such as Computer vision, hardware developper (CPUs, GPUs, VR Headset) and Tooling.
