getting stuck in them ruins the movement

basic one maybe, Depends on your skill level
inventories system are generally complex
not necessarily, its generally just basic OOP
when it comes to items and inventories, most of the heavy lifting is done for you since unity has components
whether if or if not you want the inventory to be a monobehavior object
although i guess you did preface with "Depends on your skill level"
nah ion want nothing extravagant yet
i just wanna be able to hold a torch, then maybe switch to a weapon, stuff like that
