Gamers!

I'd love to get some feedback on my Steam Store Page & Game Overall.

Steam Store:
How do I make my page seem more serious and/or professional? Are my trailer & screenshots interesting? Are my descriptions too verbose?
Anything that dissuades you from the game other than it being Early Access?
I recognize that it's a Tower Defense game at the end of the day, but I'm struggling with sales & wishlists.

Game Feedback:
I recognize that there are a lot of assets and UI items that I still want to replace, but I'd love to hear what stands out to you at being overly amateur. I'd like to make it seem like it's not a one-man project, where are my weaknesses?

Hi Terry,
First of, nice C&C inspired game, I like the style and the music. Seems like a Tiberian Dawn inspired kind of tower defence. Quite a feat you got this far as a solo dev, good job. UnityChanThumbsUp

I looked at your page and noticed a bunch of things, first time I'm doing this so here's my hopefully constructive criticism and opinion for what it's worth:

  • Your Steam tags are set by the community it seems, and they seem bad to me. Early Access is a dead tag afaik, since you can't search for it, and the other 3 main tags don't make sense. I can't even find your game in the search window with filter settings and I tried for like 10 minutes. The main tags are afaik very important to get organic searches, and More like this suggestions, so this is some low hanging fruit to fix imho.
  • Also the name is clever, same with the developer/publisher name, but wrong spelling makes it even harder to search for your game, so now your even more reliant on More Like This/homepage/Filtered search to get found. (I searched for Territorial Disputes, which gives nothing, so I couldn't find your game with filters, and not with search) Not sure if the cleverness is worth the searchability.
  • Normally your video needs to grab the player/buyer at the start, you start with a 10 second slow intro. It looks like a C&C opening cinematic, which is cool for the age 30+ people who remember it, but I think it hurts the attention span of your younger audience. If you look at other indie titles, they all try to grab the players attention by their hook in the first 10 seconds. But the reviews all seem to be about the C&C inspired aspect, so maybe this is your target audience? If so, that's quite a niche audience, in quite a niche game genre.
