Hi Lim - thank you so much for this. Unity is actively looking into this. Unity has a very similar (nearly identical) scenario in tests that does work well.
I hope official will address this bug very soon that the bug has been confirmed since 12 Oct. Btw the bug report mentioned about when multiple meshes are combine but what is not working properly I believe is the tile ground.
