Is that official going to merge Netcode for Entities into Netcode for Game Object that Netcode for Game Object will still have same authoring experience but internal netcode stack will powered by Netcode for Entities under the hood? And then in future both netcode solution will get similar authoring experience but still different coding experience?

`For Netcode, we’ll be focusing on simplifying the tech stack to offer a Netcode solution delivering all the features you need regardless of your gameplay style and project requirements. We will integrate the GameObjects workflows with the performance and scalability of the ECS Netcode infrastructure to support multiple types of games, spanning from casual co-op to large-scale competitive games.

The unified Netcode users will benefit from the performance and scalability of Netcode for Entities with capabilities such as prediction, interpolation and lag compensation, while enjoying the convenient workflows and ease of use offered by the Netcode for GameObjects solution.`

We can't say nothing precise yet arond that statement. There is an ongoing investigation about what we can or could do to make the Netcode for Entities easier to use in an hybrid scenario, but apart from that there has been not official take on what the future of Netcode would looks like.

We want to get feedback though, so anything else you can think of don't hesitate to share!

(looks like I don't have the unity staff label on this server, will ask to get it)

It's even better to get this at player runtime build

anything preventing you from customizing RNSM to repro the second screenshot? In theory you're supposed to be able to add custom stats in there + customize how it looks like

Agreed. This needs integration.

#

Anything else you'd like to see for unification?

Actually most importantly is currently netcode for entities only has browser Netdbg which is quite barebore and hopefully official will make significant improvement for this not just ux imporvement but also performance improvement
