#Why are the new ECS releases experimental?

Seems weird that the new releases are experimental after the stable 1.0 release, specially considering that 1.1 and 1.2 appear to be mostly focused on fixes.

The new minor releases are almost entirely fixes, but there are a couple of new APIs and behavior changes.

Releasing those packages in experimental signals to people that they shouldn't rely on them yet for production, because we don't have confidence yet that they are supportable for the long term.

In this case I'm reasonably confident the new APIs will "stick."
