okay so Canvas is the new thing i made
the thing underneath the rightspacehand thing
dont touch anything else , go to overlay cam
screeenshot the whole inspector
if the camera is nested in a UI canvas delete it and make a new one properly

dont nest cameras inside the canvases/ UI
delete this cam
make a new one
everything should be inside PlayerRig at very most

switch the layer to HelmetLayer or w.e
of the canvas
if it asks to change children, click yes

ok now drag the new camera you made in the slot of ScreenSpace- Camera slot
ok exclude all the layers in CULL mask to only the TestLayer
after that go to to your main cam and remove TestLayer from its Cull Mask section
done
and put the new Camera inside the Stack section of your main cam
and from here hopefully u see white box again
oh yeah there it is
ok so camera stacking is now working
all you need to do is replace the whitebox with your overlay/image
its gone saddd
