not recommended and you might get some false compile errors due to source generators but there's nothing stopping you writing code in notepad if you want even if it's not supported.
honestly 6gb of ram just isnt enough for unity these days
32gb of ram isn't 😅
I have 16 but when VS eating 6 gb around unity cannot handle with remaning 😂
No codegen with vscode though, right ?
intellisense might not be fully working since its been "abandoned" by unity? tbh never liked vscode with unity but rider really spoils me
Microsoft recently took over and released a new package. I presume it works fine
Now I'm using 32 GB. Previously using 16 GB
