How have you determined the script isn't being disabled, i.e. what do you expect to happen and what actually happens?
well, we can't tell what the value of hold will be based on these scripts alone, but nothing is stopping the script from invoking ScriptTrue every single frame so I'd hazard a guess that might cause it to be switched rapidly multiple times
