Yeah, all those "packages" are things you've included in the project, and they include things like editor windows, programming libraries, and I believe assets. Most of them are kinda boilerplate though

It sounds like you found the one containing your assets though

yeah I'm pretty bad at this stuff but i did figure it out.

I realize now I am lost lol

but I have the unity 2021 cookbook, and I'm hoping somebody here can coach me a bit.

It has several tutorials that walk you through the UI and everything. You just need to download them from the site I think
