#RPG Maker Runtime

WHAT WOULD Y'ALL THINK
about working to rewrite the rpg maker engine
into Unity
a new runtime that can read project files of existing games
specifically RPG Maker MV
would definitely require manually rewriting every single plugin used by each project
so it would be used on a case-by-case basis
What do we think about doing it ourselves, or what do we think about you doing it?
the idea of me doing it
some benefits can include more hands-on flexibity with how the game functions during runtime
easy portability
ability to account for hardware-specific features
RPG Maker already has EasyRPG or whatever its called
the open source reimplementation of i think its RPGMaker 2000 up to some slightly newer version
so it would be possible but there would be very limited use cases
that's 2000 to 2003
im talking a bit newer versions like MV
which use formats like JSON
it would be possible but very impractical
if you built a team here youcould maybe get it done
but idk what collaboration is like here or how to get a team of volunteers
would be pretty funny

i would be down to collaborate since yes it would take quite a large load of work to do
I'm confused. the actual creators of RPG Maker are already doing this and it should release this month https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/gui/rpg-maker-unite-sign-up-now-to-receive-early-bird-bonus-asset-at-242177
....so its an editor based in Unity?
im looking to be able to just use the projects directly in Unity
and im also not versed in the RPG Maker community or a close follower of every product release
it would be for publishing purposes and deeper hands-on programming experience
