#Baking prefabs with children gameobjects unsupported?

I have a prefab with a deep hierarchy of children. This prefab will be baked via GetEntity and the resulting prefab entity used for spawning later. However, I’m running into a strange issue. The children gameobjects (which will also be baked) rely on a lot of GetComponentInParent and GetComponentInChildren calls during baking in order to find. Certain monobehaviors. When it’s their turn to be baked, exceptions are thrown claiming that some monobehaviors higher or lower in the hierarchy don’t exist. Is this a limitation of baking where baking a gameobject with children gameobjects causes the entire gameobject hierarchy to be thrown out of whack?
