I'm threading this so that it doesn't get lost. Also, it's also important to state that I am managing movement and animations through a switch state machine.

The one that is particularly problematic is the jump animation, which they asked us to be animated in 3 or 4 different parts. I did 3 because I thought it would be fine, but it seems like it's far too slow for how fast the controller switches character states. I'm therefore considering eliminating the anticipation and having the character just jump, but I still get the feeling it will not play the jump all the way through
