its been 4 hours, last time I installed it it took 40 min max to install the editor application
also im reinstalling the editor because I needed to add modules but unity kept saying unable to validate installation, so I decided to reinstall it, and when I started installing it, a warning popped up saying unable to remove old editor files or something but I just clicked ignore.

also it doesn't look like unity is doing anything with the disk in task manager, which I would think it would be doing since it is installing something.
