I am in Mesozoic Rank 16 now and therefore unlocked the 15 Major Glitch upgrade for birds. However, each time I unlock it, it "re-locks". If I exit the game and come back in after unlcoking it re-locks. It also re-locks on every simulation reset.
This behavior occurs cross-platform (Web, iOS, Steam on Mac)

That's bizarre. Can I ask how you re-unlock it? Does it just do that when you enter Meso?

When I reset the sim or exit the app the "unlock" button just appears back in the upgrade list.

at least it doesn't make it unobtainable, but that is still weird
