I've been struggling with the app ever since I re-downloaded it about 2 weeks ago (about 2-3 days before Easter). The main game (and Mesozoic Valley, and The Beyond) work just fine when I'm not connected to internet. But whenever I turn my wifi connection (or mobile data) back on, and try to access the latest exploration, it gets to the loading page, freezes for about 10 seconds, and then crashes and sends me back to my phone's 'desktop' (it used to be worse--the main game used to crash when I opened the app with wifi enabled).
However--yesterday I was running errands and was in a place without wifi access, so I turned my mobile data on (just to see what would happen). It took 2 tries, but it worked! Then I came home, and it continued to work for as long as I had the app open (so, a few hours).
I tried to access it again today (about 12 hours later), and it's acting the same way it did before yesterday.
For further info: I've been trouble-shooting for the last couple weeks, but nothing seems to work--I checked, my phone has plenty of storage space free (about 6Gb). I tried deleting apps that I downloaded recently after downloading this one, in case that was messing with this; nothing.
2 weeks ago, my phone was working fine (able to play ads and return to a game without crashing, but running low on storage) before I moved a ton of stuff (personal pics and videos only, no apps or app data) onto my SIM card. (And I thought: great! Now I have space to re-download and play the games I've missed! So I went and downloaded this app, as well as 2 other games.) And now after I've done that, nothing works.
I've removed the SIM card, and ironically, that made it easier to play C-to-S (specifically without an internet connection)--ironically, b/c wouldn't having more space (and more RAM capacity) make it easier to play?
basically, long story short: I'm trying to figure out if it's a hardware or software issue that's making the game crash. Please help me.
